from a local Menonite cookbook - really creamy and easy to make
This recipe was on the inside of a birthday card sent to my daughter back in 1982. My family enjoyed them immensely. Sometimes I would put 1/2 a bag of milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips in them for a nice change. Try them you might like them. :)
I've had this recipe for years and its still a favorite in this house. The grandkids are enjoying them now. Let me know how you like them. :)
This candy is like those Cherry A Lets or Cherry Mash candy bars of the 50s and 60s. Its fast and easy to make. I get my cherry chips at Walmart. Enjoy!
This is the authentic recipe. I've had this for years. My grandkids love it. Its very easy to make.
