    Pickled Green Beans

    I am looking for a recipe for spicy pickled green beans. Can anyone help me out?

    All I have is canning recipes-heres a good one that you can "break down" if not canning.
    4 pounds green beans or yellow beans-or a mix
    6 T. salt
    3 cups distilled white vinegar
    3 cups water
    1/2 dill seed or 1 fresh head per pint
    3 whole peppercorns per pint
    1/4 t. cayenne pepper per pint
    1 clove garlic per pint
    Trim beans and remove strings-I don't remove strings". Combine salt, vinegar and water and bring to a boil. Add seasonings to each clean, hot jar. Pack beans in jar so they cant move-were talkin tight, and cover with boiling liquid, leaving 1/2 inch head space. BEANS MUST BE COVERED! Process 10 min at sea level to 1000 feet. email me if you need the altitude chart @ dianai2000@hotmail.com
