I needed some gingersnaps for the meatballs. Since I was out of the boxed kind and didn't feel like buying any, I just made my own. I am going to freeze some of them to use in a few other recipes.

Everything looks wonderful. I especially love the flower on the plate with the gingersnaps, the color really seems to show off the cookies.

I'll have to try baking them sometime and see how it works out. Lots of other things do well in the oven.

They can be slightly chewy but will get very crisp if you bake them a little longer. Depends how you like your cookie.

The sauerkraut balls looked yummy - unfortunatley, sauerkraut is one of the few foods I'm not all that fond of. The gingersnaps looked great too & those are a favorite of mine!
