    A flower box!

    Miss Erin

John made me a flower box! He also got me a seed packet of little purple daisies to plant. I just put it out on the back porch where we get the most sun. If they don't come up I might be a bit dissappointed, but they I'll just go out and get some little pansies or something and fill it to the brim with bright colorful flowers. Spring is here!

Flower boxes are so much fun! My yard is quite shady in most spots, but gets sunshine in the morning, so I plant mine with impatiens every year. They really grow like crazy and mound up and trail, so they look terrific in the boxes after about 6 weeks. Have fun with yours, Erin! icon_surprised.gif)

You know Erin, that is pretty sweet of him. I have been wanting to build some flower boxes for my front windows for several years, but have never gotten around to doing it. I could buy them I know, but something is just making me want to make them. John if you see this, tell me how you did it. I've read things about how to do it. Who knows maybe I'll follow your lead. I'm not lucky enough to be able to talk my husband into doing flower boxes. He's not really too good with the building stuff. Now my father in law, well that's a different story.
