Oooh Kasha, what a *huge* bag of goodies!! I'll be in sugar high for weeks! There's a grand assortment of individual fruit candies that I just poured into a bowl - now I can take "just one" whenever I'm passing by - Maoam's soft fruit chews (yu-um!), numerous Haribo's candy bags (those little ones are so nifty - we only get the huge family-sized ones here!), a jar of Grisettes de Montpellier, an incredibly delicious-looking huge log of nougat with pistachios and almonds, two beautiful postcards, plus two kitchen towels featuring wine labels! Oh, bliss!

Thank you so much for everything Kasha!

Stormylee, so glad you like the package. The little round tin the licorice grisettes come in is great for using after the candy is gone. I sneaked a couple of those long fruit chews, I was very happy with them, had never had them before. See what I mean about your candy being more sophisticated? Much more for adult tastes. Oh! I LOVED the fruit jelly mix in the little bag you sent, those were fantastic, and I also had the lemon filled licorice, which was very nice!!

Amanda, I'm so sorry to worry you! I got it on Wednesday and just haven't had a chance to thank you yet. I love it though!! I was so excited when it came, I was like a kid in a candy store... wait, that metaphor is awfully close to reality here, lol.

Amanda (nanunanu) sent me some wonderful candy!! I'm so psyched to try it all. Let's see, what did I get...

    Mike and Ikes
    Berty Bott's every flavor beans
    Nic-l-nips
    candy necklaces
Necco wafers (regular and chocolate flavored... gasp! hey, I won't complain icon_wink.gif )
    Mary Janes
    power rolls
    b-b-bats
    astro pops

So much fantastic old-fashioned candy! Thanks sooo much Amanda! I'll swap with you anytime! icon_biggrin.gif

I've actually seen those in my area too but never tried them, so I can't wait! I think I saw them at some specialty candy stores. If you'd like I'd be happy to send you some. You can e-mail me about it at snapdragon1 at juno dot com if you're interested. icon_wink.gif
