Several years ago a friend gave me a recipe for Pork Chops Lombardi which she had copied from the Houston Chronicle many years before.

I've lost touch with the friend any misplaced the recipe. It had ingredients such as strong coffee and wine. It was a supurb pork chop recipe and was meant to be served over noodles or rice.

Anybody have any idea what I'm talking about? Any help will be appreciated.

I found this same recipe on a number of sites, but nothing for pork chops and nothing with coffee. It does have the wine. Chicken Lombardi

You can write the food editor at The Chronicle and ask for the recipe. Go to lifestyles, then food for the address.

Did you ever find this recipe? Your post is so old. I have a copy of this recipe WAY back when the LA Times had a great food section. It is the original clipping from the recipe and I can send it to you.

Hi and welcome, chef? I did not see a recipe with this name in our database, so why not go ahead and post it? You've intrigued me! Just click or hover over the blue box to the right of your icon, and in the right hand column in the box that opens you will see the Submit a Recipe button - click that and follow the instructions.

Sure. I'm at work now, so I'll have to pull it from my recipe file at home tonight and then submit. I sure hope she found that recipe. I hope to never lose it myself! icon_smile.gif
