    Berries & Tomatoes

    Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
    I have been blessed with an abundance of Blueberries - Blackberries - and Tomatoes. I would like some info or recipes for possibly freezer jams- My husband cannot deal with the seeds of the blackerries- Salsa (not too spicy) My grandchildren love Salsa & can you pressure can Berries? I have never tried to keep any of the berries we raise. I usually give them to ohers. Thanks for any help.

    my motherin law makes blackberry jelly. she boils the berries until they are really tenderthen mashes them with a potato masher then strains them thru a peice of cheesecloth. then takes the juice adss sgar and pectin cooks til thick .bam jelly
