    Experienced "Head Chef" Poster
    found great recipes for starter but none said how to feed it after u start using in recipes. if anyone knows please tell me

    This is from a recipe book that's older than dirt and it says to
    "BEFORE using, feed the starter with 1 cup of warm water, 1 cup of flour, and 1 T. of sugar. Beat the starter well and let sit for 8-12 hours, then use. Always keep at least 1 T. of starter for your new batch." Hope this helps. Diana
