Saralaya has just started hosting The Kosher Forum! I cannot think of a better fit for that forum. It hasn't received much attention lately (ok, for quite some time) and I know that she will be doing her utmost to pump it up.

Maybe some of us could drop in there and torment her from time to time just so she doesn't get complacent. I know I'll be doing that! icon_wink.gif
It is a great opportunity to ask all of the dumb questions I may have been too embarrassed to ask and really interesting to discover a new way of cooking for those of us who are not Jewish. It wasn't the Brits that made Chicken Soup famous. icon_lol.gif

Now you can find her and chat both here (she is staying if I have to chain a piano to her leg) and there. Kosher Forum

Congratulation Saralaya - you will be awesome!

    Congratulations, Sara!

I hope you don't think I'm here to pick up any slack or anything over here, though. icon_wink.gif

Congrats Saralaya. Admittedly, I know VERY little about kosher cooking but it will be interesting to have a peek at your forum.

Thanks for your support you guys... Potsie- There is a reason why coarse salt it called Kosher Salt.... all salt is "kosher" but this type has a specific purpose in kosher food... (I can explain here if you want)

There are a couple of new threads... but someone thought the old ones which wound up showing during the most recent "upgrade glitch" icon_rolleyes.gif were new and she posted in them... icon_sad.gif

Sara, would you take a few minutes to explain either here or at Kosher forum the difference between Kosher food and Jewish food? This is a misconception that might keep some people away......just saying.

Harry you are a mind reader! I am planning to do that over at the other forum..sooooooo how about if I try it out on you guys first? You can critique, ask questions (tell me if there's too much detail or not enough) and help me make a really good post.. OK... I'm going to work on it in the next post here! Thank in advance!
