Why am I not surprised Shapes, rotfl.gif

Even though I had a French Dip Sandwich a little over a week ago. That is dinner tonight. Trying hard to use up stuff.
I have 1/4 lb turkey, 1/4 roast beef, leftover au jus, 3 slices of cheese, and some sauteed onions and peppers. Sounds like a sandwich to me ... and 1 hoagie roll.
On the side, sweet potato fries.
    Easy dinner

My DH is going to have that Tony Romas Baked Potato Soup that I made yesterday, and a BLT. I just came in from the garden-some sort of cheeeezzzzy vegetable casserole that will have eggplant, yellow squash, tomatoes, peppers, red onion, garlic, minced smoky bacon and more cheese for Meeeeeeeee! icon_lol.gif

Well crud. Now I can't decide if I want to make a Bacon/Veg quiche or if I want to make eggplant parm ravioli with marinara sauce. icon_confused.gif

Well, it's kind of cool and wanting to rain here today - I've got a roast chicken to use up - plus almost 2 quarts of chicken stock and a pint of corn stock in the fridge that wouldn't go in the canner. I'm going to make some sort of chicken soup-stew (NOT "stoup" though icon_rolleyes.gif ) with either gnocchi (if I have any knocking around) or mini pierogies as "dumplings."

We had brown rice pasta, topped with sauteed mushrooms and an incredible vegan cheese sauce, with steamed broccoli on the side. And for dessert: dates and dried figs. yummy.gif
