    I hate this day.

Let me start by saying, I know I'm probably not the only one who feels this way.

So, I hate this date more than any other day of the year. I hate this day even more than the anniversary of my fathers death. The senselessness, and loss. It just brings up hurts I don't want to visit. I did not personally lose anyone in the attacks, but I felt it in my core. The overwhelming sadness I felt this day 12 years ago haunted me badly today for some reason. I was cranky and sad. NOT like myself at all. I was very impatient with my employees, and my customers. NOT GOOD. I kept my composure with the customers, but my people working today, got the brunt of it. Working today was my mom, and another lady. I snapped badly at my mom, well, because I can, and she will love me not matter what. I felt HORRIBLE, and I apologized. She said she didn't think anything of it. I was short with the other lady, but not too short. I did apologize to her, and she said the same thing, that she didn't even notice. I don't know if they were both being nice and really didn't notice, or didn't want to anger me any further.

So, on this horrible day, I am going to bed now. God bless, and good night. Next year, I'm going to sleep on September 10th, and waking up on September 12th. Skipping this most awful day altogether. One saying that sticks with me most for today: ALWAYS REMEMBER, NEVER FORGET.

It is horrible; and way too many lives lost and affected. But, it is also a good reminder of what can happen. The pilots took lessons just south of me at a private airport. I knew a guy that worked in the hanger. I guess you just never know. However ... as he said, looking back. Someone should of questioned him, things just didn't add up. But ... you don't thing a guy wanting to learn to fly is a terrorist, especially in a small FL town. But yes, it is a horrible day for sure.

Thanks for the hugs ladies. I'm like a whole new person today. I got my smile back - see icon_biggrin.gif!

I know that the feelings I had yesterday (9/11) were only because of the anniversary of that date. I do feel it year round, as do most I'm sure. But for some reason it hit me bad yesterday. What can I say, I guess I AM human after all.

We need to do more background checks. Also that gut feeling people get often is spot on. The problem is, you cannot bring someone in for questioning based on a gut feeling.

Terrorists do a good job of targeting the unsuspecting.

Sorry you had such a horrid day. I too, feel the sadness. I'm so emotionally pulled for all those killed and the suffering of those left behind. I don't want this post to be answered nor to start a commotion, but I also feel for the many innocent though misguided who are showing all this hatred in the name of their religion.
