In college, a favorite restaurant made a killer blue cheese dressing. Salads were all I could afford. It was the Old South Restaurant in Russellville Arkansas.
Caroline Cooks has recreated that dressing here: Old South Blue Cheese Dressing or Dip

Red Apple, I love that recipe. and Blue cheese dressing is big in the States and we enjoyed it often when we were there. its hard to get buttermilk where we live... there is something that you can do to milk to make it into buttermilk but cant remember what it is, any suggestions???

Joy, if your markets carry kefir, that would work instead of the buttermilk. This is such a small Ant, that I'd also just use milk.

Duonyte is right, milk alone would be fine. But look at this substitute for buttermilk: Substitute for Buttermilk
