It is the blessed sound of quiet...and I'm enjoying it as I type this. The pups are all asleep and my students are all in their rooms. I am taking this time to share some news. I am going to have my second high school student moving in. She will be here the next two yrs continuously. This is super cool because she is in the same grade and school as my first student. One is from Vietnam and the other, China. I have met her several times and she enjoyed our family environment. She is now living with a Host family...the type that sets out cold cereal for breakfast, lunch on her own, and a proper dinner. This is the typical setup. Nothing wrong with that and this program has existed for many years....it's how I first got started. The parents pay more then what I charge and the child is treated as my own in every way. More involvement and work then my college students...but more exciting. So now, maybe, you can see why the sound of nothing but dogs snoring is heavenly. icon_cool.gif

The only time I have silence is when the kids are at school and it is a slice of heaven.

That sounds like a great set up you have there. I am sure you must enjoy the company of the students! I like to be around young people. My kids are always bringing their teenage friends here and I get such a kick out of them. I like the way they think and the way that they interact with another. Some of them are an absolute hoot. They are just a great bunch!
