As you can tell the, the format for the DINNER thread has been changed.
It's sort of the same you will still come here everyday to post your dinner choices.
But instead of looking through all the other topics being posted, you
will be able to find the thread right away.

Today we are going over to my SO's cousin's

Well, it's just after 4pm here. My "very rustic" crustless spinach tart is in the oven (it can stand staying in a warming oven later). Recipe's on this site but I don't have the number.

And thick sirloin steaks for pan-frying, well matured and lovely, which was a bargain buy in a great food shop. Plus ... I still have to think! Potatoes, probably, and another veggie, probably green beans. And a tomato salad.

Using up my refried beans from the other night, which I will doctor up with salsa and a few more onions. Serve over rice, add some cheese and fried eggs and a little more salsa, sort of a 'huevos ranchero.' Fresh fruit

My favorite summer salad this year: Caesar salads topped with some warm cheese tortellini and shredded chicken.
