    Panzanella Salad-September

    Wed Sep 04, 2013 12:32 pm Groupie

I have to ask. What's not to LOVE about Panzanella Salad? Hands down my favorite recipe is Panzanella Salad With Bacon, Tomato and Basil. I'm soooo happy I can make a great loaf of chewy bread for the croutons, that I can walk out back and pick my tomatoes and basil, and that I have an outstanding source for applewood double smoked bacon. Yeah, I know there's other recipes out there but that one lights every candle I got!

One of these might light yours icon_lol.gif

I have only made Panzanella Salad once and I can't find it in my reviews.
That typically means I didn't care for it. All I can remember was soggy croutons. Clearly just picked the wrong recipe. Given that there are a gazillion tomatoes around and I have a ton of basil I'll be trying it again this week!
