    Thanks Peggy. He has lost almost 18 pounds and now in ideal weight range. Me on the other hand is not there yet. Not fair! I need to drop about 30 more pounds.

    Wow, super, Susie! Thank you. I saved these two and will be making them this week. I am determined to make quinoa more than Mediterranean, Southwest, Latin, and salad types.


    This is such a great idea. I was recently diagnosed as borderline diabetic. Rice has a lot of carbs, so am trying to minimize how much I have, and have been using quinoa more. This is NOT an Asian recipe, but a great example of another way to use quinoa. We really like it:

    To me, cooked beans don't taste significantly different. I think it would be good with whatever variety is available.
