    Fried Rice

    Does this count ...
Turning a very bland and plain fried rice from a Chinese Delivery one night. It was horrible. No egg, NO soy, it was basically pilaf.

Tonight, I added slaw mix, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, 2 eggs, 1 carton of the fried rice, soy, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, extra shrimp, and 2 scallions. Then, just refried.

That was finally how fried rice should taste.
It was nice by the pool until a bolt of lightening... too close for comfort.

Great photo, Kim, and you were highly creative to turn the bland rice into something which looks so delicious!! icon_biggrin.gif And of course, you're getting so professional with your camera! Such a nice close-up, great colour and light.

Pity about the thunderbolt -- did you get rain too?

Thx for the compliments; more bang than anything. It did rain, but not too much; all around us however. Typical FL weather.

That looks great,I'm a huge fan of fried rice and their for a little picky about it but love when theirs sprouts in it so I think I would love yours!(great picture also!)

Next time your making fried rice, try putting a little bit of sweet baby rays barbecue sauce in it..I know it might sound weird, but I do this all the time with left over fried rice and it tastes sooo good!
