I am searching for a recipe for Lamb Shanks with no onion or garlic.
Also a good stock recipe without onion or garlic to make risotto.

    Can anyone help.

I am sorry no one has tried to help you, yet. I did a search for lamb shanks and found the following recipe, which is for chops but I'd think you could cook them the same just watch your cooking time.

this one does use garlic but I'd just leave it out and don't think it would affect the favor. This is close to the way I cook lamb.

Below is a basic stock recipe with a list of things that could be added you can always add something else besides the onion and garlic. This is the only one I have found that has a basic then additions, so I think it will work for you.

Onions are a classic ingredient in broth or stock, but you obviously can and should omit it, if necessary. This is how I make chicken broth, and it results in a nice strong broth, Crock Pot Chicken or Turkey Stock

The same is true for the lamb shanks - just omit garlic and onion from a recipe that otherwise sounds good to you.

Easy Lamb Shank Slow Cook - omit the onion soup mix, use some salt, thyme, a bay leaf.

Lamb Shank Rogan Josh - omit the small amount of onion
