    Maintenance Notification

    Wed., July 10
We're performing site maintenance on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. It will likely take less than an hour but let's say 5AM EST-8AM EST to be on the safe side.

*The most noteworthy fix is for the recent issue of only being able to search the past two weeks of reviews. Everyone will then be able search beyond this timeframe. Hurray!

    Thurs., July 11
The Scripps Networks Interactive ops team will be doing some maintenance Thurs. morning, July 11. The planned window of interruption is less than or equal to 90 minutes between 5 – 8 am ET. This will cause an interruption in service to our community services

If you stop by during the times outlined above, don't be alarmed if you see our curtain page or receive an unexpected error. Once we're back online, be sure to clear your cache and cookies, and then sign in to Food.com again.

Update: We had some issues with the release this morning, so we had to roll it back. This is why you were experiencing an extended curtain page/outage. However, everything has been restored. We will retry this release again another time. I will keep you posted on timing for it.

Will this MAINTENANCE let us look through
our reviews, or do we have to wait for another
    update ? icon_rolleyes.gif

As I stated above, we had issues with the release this morning causing extended outage. Therefore, we had to roll it back. So, no release/fix for search within reviews went out. We will try again later. I will keep you posted when that happens.

    Mary,
With all due respect, a lot of us are getting really
    tired of " ROLL IT BACK's ". icon_evil.gif
Please let the higher up's know they have
taken a site that was once a very user friendly site,
to a site that is a piece of crap. icon_sad.gif

    Shapeweaver,
I understand your frustration with issues involving these last two releases and us having to roll them back. BELIEVE ME when I say we feel it too! Releases are tested behind the scenes before being pushed to production. However, you can't always predict how it will impact the live environment. These two caused key features to break, so the decision was made to roll them back rather than have our users not be able to use the site at all. We KNOW there are enhancements that need to be made to make this site as user friendly as possible and working on making that happen. It may not seem like it, but we are and WE WANT IT TOO.

I have good news this morning. icon_smile.gif The problems from last week's release were resolved & it was rolled out successfully this morning. So the search within reviews has been fixed and is working now! Yay!
