Wow, great job Rosie... thank you icon_lol.gif

My votes are for these two....

    and

You did a stellar job ... kudos to you.

I second that! I actually like the tiny paw print one, too, but that one might translate better as a larger banner rather than a stamp-sized one. I think my absolute favorite for the big banner so far is the very first banner you posted (the sparkle PP with the border and pinkish background). Awesome job! icon_biggrin.gif

I loved the sparkly one also, but also agree with these ones. icon_smile.gif
    Great job looks awesome.

Too funny, Jubes!!! I was gonna add ZWT9 to it in the corner, but I'm too tired. i just posted my Cajun recipe (or think I did)... but it still is not showing the correct ingredients (it won't show the smoked sausage or the pounds for the chicken). UGH! I hate technology sometimes! Hopefully my Greek flaming cheese will make it in by tomorrow.
    Goodnight everyone! wave.gif

Well done Rosie! My DD does all my banners, etc. for my small business not my cup of tea - but she is a graphic designer. She likes doing them and knows how to crank them out. She is working on a new logo for me. Anyways I know it is a skill and thanks for all your hard work.

I will be off doing an art show today and tomorrow and Sunday we are going to ride our bikes in the area near the show, but I will be home on Sunday night. Can't wait for the tour to start - my bags are packed and my knives are sharpened - might be a problem with customs - guess I will have to check them or take a boat - or wait I can be like the Pink Panther and smuggle them - lol! Everyone have a great day and weekend!

Quick question - I have a banana cream pie recipe that I just love. I'm a bit shaky on my Creole knowledge but it seems to be a heavy mix of french and american cooking - which cream pies are. Anyone out there super knowledgeable and have an idea if it would work?

Also any idea about pound cakes - I know they are both Southern and French

Banana Cream Pie With Chocolate Lining
    Honey Vanilla Pound Cake

I've also added I've also added A Friend of a Friend of a Friend's Chocolate Bourbon Banana Brea to my cajun. Sorry for all the changes!

Rosie, the banners are great! I can make banners, but they are not near as awesome as these icon_smile.gif I do like the two posted at the top of this page.

I hope my cajun recipe makes it through, I got it out of an American Regional book authored by culinary instructors. It was my text book! LOL!

I plan to spend the day cleaning my kitchen, gotta get ready for some serious cooking!

I have three on that list of "checking further" (1/2 of what I listed), and they were all taken from the Cajun section of a cookbook I picked up in New Orleans. I think they are in question as they are a more "modern" take on Cajun cooking. If they don't go through it is not a biggie. Now when we get to Scandinavia, that is a different story, my mom immigrated to the USA from Norway, so all my Scandinavian recipes are truly authentic.

All 15 of my Greek recipes went through, so looking on the positive side of things.

    Hi ladies! wave.gif

    LOOKEE HERE, IMPORTANT POST icon_wink.gif

    Rosie, AWESOME JOB! icon_cool.gif
Are those the finals, or are you still tweaking them? NOT that I think they need any tweaks, I just wanted to check with you. I'll transfer the banner to our new permanent thread once I get the go-ahead from you. Oh, and if you could give us the codes for the final images so we can copy and paste them without having to use the quote function, I would love you forever! icon_wink.gif icon_lol.gif

In the meantime, TA DA!! Here's our new digs (we don't have to wait for the final banner go-ahead, we can move now, via the link below)

Hot Pink Panthers on the Prowl

I'm not completely kicking everyone out of here until we have our proper banner transferred, but we should probably start moseying on over there with the general chatter.

    Soooo, see ya' there! icon_biggrin.gif

Yep, I carried over the final ones to the new page already, so you can get the codes from there.

Sofie, I'm certainly not the resident expert on this stuff, but if you think that they might fly, I would just add them in. The worst thing that happens is they reject them and they get taken out of the cookbook. I would recommend checking with BK (or perhaps someone who may have been a cookbook guru in the past, if she's not available) about the best way to submit them, though -- whether it's easier for her to add individual recipes, or if you should add them to your cookbook and submit the whole thing to her again. If memory serves me from past tours, I think that the cookbook gurus prefer to work with cookbooks, rather than individual recipes (I've never been one, so I really am not sure, though icon_redface.gif ).
