I've installed Food Network Recipe Manager software. I've downloaded and installed the appropriate updates to the application. I'm currently running

The program seems incapable of importing recipes from Food.Com. Is this no longer supported on Food.Com? Something I'm missing possibly? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. I receive the following error.

"There was a problem with the URL - it's either incorrect, or for an unsupported site.

There's a 2012 thread on the subject, maybe there's some info there to help you.

This software program was dreamt up by Food Network and Nova, and not by Lots of people have problems with it but since is not the developer, this site can do very little to help with the problems.

There was an earlier extensive thread with contact information for Nova, who actually developed the software, and make upgrades and patches to fix problems. I don't know whether your specific problem is addressed, but this might be worth reviewing.

I see no reason you should have to read through endless threads (some going back to 2012) to get a solution to your problem. You've come to the right place to get an answer, and I say stick to it!

Unfortunately, staff will be away until Monday. If you desire pursuing this via reading old threads, please, go ahead. Mary will be back Monday, and she'll be able to offer sound advice.

2012 was last year, so not really that long ago by some standards. Sometimes some information up front is better than no information at all for several days! I also hope the previous thread to which duonyte and I posted links proves useful, as it contains information on how to contact the developer of the software. apparently had nothing to do with it. If that thread is not useful for you, Michael, I'm afraid you will have to wait for the staff to return after the weekend. I'd follow up on it quickly then, as there is a holiday during the week.

Michael, click on File and Check for Updates. You need the most recent release If you don't have, please update until you get this most recent version and it should work for you.

I just tested and it worked for me, but I had to update for it to do so.

Let me know if you have anymore problems.
