I just tested in both and they are working for me. Try emptying your cache and deleting your cookies then relaunching and see if that helps.

Sorry Mary not working for me in IE Version 10

My windows OS (Operating System) is Windows7 64 bit and my browser is IE10 version 10.0.7

Also not working in Mozilla Firefox Version 22.

Also tried on the DH's lap top which is also Windows7 32 bit and browser version 10.0.9200.16635 update version 10.0.7.

Also no working on DH's Firefox Version 22.

Sorry Mary did as you said and cleared things up but even after a reboot when I go into my reviews and the search engine I get 486.952 recipes to search instead of 2343 that is in windows and on my computer have not tried firefox or DH's computer and quite honestly at the moment I am too tired as it is 11.30pm here and it has been a very long day as I have been up since 6.00am, but I would really like to see this problem resolved.

Pat, reviews have never been searchable with the sifter. The fix was to the Search This Set field, which was broken for a few weeks - it would only search the last two weeks of posted reviews. I cannot remember the explanation, it has something to do with how reviews are stored.

Can someone explain how I can research reviews but sorry nothing seems to be working or me other than the large search bar and that only seems to search what is on the page, sorry no help what so ever.

When you go to your reviews, there is a search bar just above the list that says Search This Set. You can keyword search the recipes that way by recipe title. Regrettably, sifter search does not work within reviews. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
