If your planning a trip to somewhere in Africa it would be such an exciting time. If you have been to anywhere From South Africa, Kenya, Botswana or anywhere else do drop in and tell us of your time there, we would love to hear from you.

I have not been there, but my sister and BIL are in SA right now, apparently very busy according to the nieces, doing volunteer work. I cannot wait to hear from them.

I do hope they take time off to relax, and see a bit more of the country. We will always have the very needy around us. For example, I am out of blankets -- have given so many away in cold weather. I now have only 1 extra blanket per bed in my house (the beds do have duvets). I'm also out of "old" sweaters and towels.

In Africa in general there is so much volunteer work to be done ... in fact, it will never be finished.

And I just got an email from my sister today, here is the part about Africa :

Anyway, we are having a wonderful time in South Africa. Kruger was amazing. Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities we have visited. Our volunteer opportunities are going well.
