As a parting gift for the wedding, I made That Fabulous Tahini Cookie!. I wanted the guests to leave with something really special. I wrapped the cookies in a mesh bag, which was then placed in a Mason jar, and tied with a ribbon stamped with the date.

A very nice gift. Thank you much for taking the challenge.

For the Parting gift I've prepared Sesame Salt 495621 by katew

The sesame salt is in a decorative jar that has been embellished with a bright summery flower and matching ribbon. It will be packed in a box with the colors of the Greek flag and well padded with packing materials so that it can travel safely to the guests' homes.

It's a fake fabric flower. I once received a gift wrapped with that ribbon and flower and kept it because I thought it was pretty.

I, ElizabethKnicely #2549237, have MERP'd my tag for the ~ZWT9~ Parting Gift Challenge with Marinated Olives #361372 by PaulaG #133174. I couldn't manage a very good picture with this one, but I packaged the olives in small 2 ounce jars to be handed out as favors after the wedding. Enjoy!

For the wedding of Missy Moneybags and Bart Megabucks I packaged the lemon olive oil in a small glass jar and attached a paper cap with blue sparkle tape and a double tag. One tag with the couple's monogram and the other a heart with the couple's names, wedding date and the words True Love . The tags were attached with white embroidery floss. For traveling home the jars would be packaged in a small padded box.

I previously posted a picture of the box I was using as a gift for the guests. This post has a picture of the cookies that were put inside it:

For my parting gift for the wedding of Missy Moneybags and Bart Megabucks I selected and reviewed Greek Nectarine Preserves #423945 by Dienia B.

These preserves are a little less firm than a typical preserve and are also called Greek spoon sweets. They are a symbol of hospitality and are a traditional offering to guests.

To decorate the jar I used a colorful bit of cloth and tied it on with a blue cord, attaching a spoon. Then I placed the jar in a gold gift bag for each guest.
