Pizza night! Sourdough crusts, and a bunch of other health foods, to be followed with Alka Seltzer.

Thanks. We're keeping the grandkiddies this weekend. Pizza is a staple with them. They always want pepperoni but it disappears before I can take photos.

wave.gif Hey Gang! Long time no see ~ Red's pizza looks yummy! Today I baked Oatmeal-Pecan Loaf for the Bread Machine #302142 ~ mixed on the dough cycle and baked in my oven. Very tasty!

Baking for vacation. French bread yesterday morning and then made four batches of cinnamon rolls. Cinnamon rolls were 8 trays of 6 rolls each. Most for the lifeguards where we go. icon_smile.gif

Will make buckeyes today. Not baking.

May make Swedish toffee, too. Not sure yet.

Will also make and freeze pizza dough. Sunday evening is always pizza night. icon_smile.gif

Posted some recipes. One is Donna's Japanese Milk Bread with a twist, and the other is a take on Reinhart's Babka recipe.

Done baking and candy-making for vacation. Just have to make gazpacho tomorrow. Gazpacho is lunch most days.

Baked French bread first thing Monday morning after letting the dough rise overnight. Recipe is country French bread from breadworld.com. My wife likes to have some bread and cheese late afternoon after we return from the beach.

Set up to make cinnamon rolls, too.

Made four batches cinnamon rolls on Monday. Made them as eight trays of 6.

Made buckeyes and Swedish toffee on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Just over 200 buckeyes and 220 pieces of toffee. Picture is the first batch of 99 buckeyes and part of the first batch of Swedish toffee, about 80 pieces.

Made and froze pizza dough last night, too.

I've posted the cinnamon roll recipe in the general recipe files. Standard internet recipe a lot of people use. Found it on a Dutch oven cooking (camp cooking) web site in 2007.

I've posted the buckeye and Swedish toffee recipes are in the forums.

My wife made herself a skillet chocolate chip cookie last weekend. She may make a couple on vacation, too. Recipe is the internet recipe a lot of people found several years ago. My wife makes a couple of changes to the recipe: (1) reduce the amount of chocolate chips, and (2) adjust the brown sugar:sugar ration to 1:1 like a the standard Toll House recipe.

I'll pay $20 for the cookie, but you have to ship it in the skillet.
