I'm making SE Asian tonight, tho, because we've had NA/ME food the last 2 nights plus dd has been BEGGING for rice noodles & I've been telling her to wait, we'll get there soon, lol. Poor kid. Fortunately, my family is used to doing the Tour & just enjoy the ride! Last night she asked if I had my photo before she dug in. icon_wink.gif

I thought I'd have everything on hand but guess what? Not so.

I need oranges an a bunch of other things. No problem though, it's stuff that I'll use.

It's Asia that I'm not buying for. I don't care for the cuisine and Dh doesn't like anything on the whole. I'm not going to go out and buy anything that I'll use 2 Tbsp's of and throw the rest in the trash.

I don't mind SE Asian cuisine. Is it my fav? No. I really don't like Chinese American. I have to be in the mood for Asian food. NA*ME? Any time!

yeah - i saw a recipe of CG's with orange flower water in it in the SE Asia cb. How'd that get in there? Thai oranges or something?

I'm working hard this round because I can't take my pantry with me to Maine nor can I buy everything there. I really need to plan my cooking, take recipes & perhaps a few spices/condiments with me.

I like Asian cuisine generally. As long as the scary food products & cilantro aren't there.

yes but you need to be careful.... not all Ramadan approved recipes are representative of the NA/ME region. Just ask if you need any help.
