Good morning Mia. The grass was cut after church, early afternoon. He normally doesn't do that but the rain was headed our way.

    I used Simply Potatoes

Yes, they are just shredded potatoes with onions added. I did toss in a couple of sliced green onions as well. I have no idea why they are called funeral potatoes but they are so delicious. Makes a great bake and take dish.

I have to try them! We don't have those ready made shredded potatoes, but I have a good thermomix who will shred them for me. Also I have gluten free unsweetened cornflakes which I can use. Yum! So that'll be a trip to the US I suppose, after the trip to Italy tomorrow: Vitello Tonnato (Cold Veal With Tuna Sauce) #234364 by MariaLuisa

I've made the Vitello Tonnato (Cold Veal With Tuna Sauce) #234364 today - it tastes awesome! Made with home made mayonnaise from organic eggs and olive oil, this dish is full of good fats and proteins.
We had this along with my own Quinoa Tomato Salad #501741

Sounds like you are eating well. We have been having leftovers the last couple of days. I did fix an asparagus frittata the other night and served it with a large green salad. Tonight we are having the leftover funeral potatoes with Roasted Asparagus With Sage and Lemon Butter and my Low Fat Mini Meatloaves.

It is getting very hot in my part of the world. Stay cool all and drink lots of water.

    I agree - pizza sounds great yummy.gif

Ground beef, zucchini and sweet potatoes with saté sauce here today, kinda trip to Indonesia. Made the saté sauce with erythritol instead of sugar for the first time, and it worked really well.

    Have a wonderful weekend all!

    Good morning Paula! wave.gif
    This fish looks so yummy.
We've been on a trip to India yesterday with some mango curry and today back to Italy with pasta and home made vegetable bolognese.
We're having a short heat wave currently, about 91 F today which is unusual for our part of Germany. A little thunderstorm in the early morning and now very hot and damp. This caught me a little by surprise - otherwise I would have made gazpacho or something icon_lol.gif

Good morning Mia. The temperature here for the past couple of days has been a bit cooler--low 80's. We were having thunderstorms early morning and late evening. The rain is scheduled to move out the next few days. Hopefully, that will give DH time to finish painting the deck.

Feels like I'm living in the tropics! We had another downpour last night. It lasted only a short time but gave us lots of rain. Dinner last night was all over the US and Canada.

From the southern US we enjoyed Southern Fried Salmon Patties by Dari Donovan. This was served with

    Wonderful picture!
We had some tropical downpours in Germany, too. Not in my place, luckily, but in the Ruhr which is about 50 miles away.
