That sounds fun CS! Have a great time and enjoy yourself. You deserve it! As for dinner for us, it is out with some friends. We hadn't been able to get together for a few weeks and tonight is the night! WOOHOO, can't wait. icon_biggrin.gif

First. it is a dance recital for my 7 y/o great niece. She lives about an hour away from me. I'm so excited to see her dance. I haven't seen her dance since she was 5. I guess she has improved greatly. Plus, I heard she was jumping up and down when she heard we were coming down. Can't let that little one down. icon_biggrin.gif Have a GREAT day everyone!!!!

Not sure. Don is supposed to get some sort of schedule today so that I will know which nights he will be home to eat and which ones he will need either something quick or re-heated.

I think tonight it will be Cobb Salads but that can change as many nights do icon_lol.gif

Not a clue. Bad night's sleep, too fuzzy to think.

    Shapes have fun!

Me: A good friend is on vacation; so, I will be taking care of the pups (3 labs). In return, he always leaves me gift certificate to my favorite sushi place - so that will be dinner on the way home after their evening walk. Or, I should say my evening RUN. Try taking 1 brown lab, a pup; a 3 and 6 yr old for a walk - they pretty much take me.

Also, this morning as the pups were playing outside; I made him a vegetable soup w/broccoli, cauli, potatoes, tomatoes, etc for his freezer. He will enjoy that.

Randy's thawing a pork tenderloin to grill. Now I have to get creative with veggies. Definitely some sweet potatoes, but I also have cauliflower to use, asparagus, kale, beets, carrots, and zucchini. Hmm...maybe Mexican Pickled Cauliflower Salad (Coliflor Encurtido) and/or a kale slaw. Kale Slaw With Peanut Dressing has potential, as does Tofu, Kale and Red Bell Pepper Slaw With Spicy Citrus Dressing.

ETA: He decided on swordfish instead, wants a fruit salsa. Sigh.

I just go with the flow. Asparagus with the fish, I guess. icon_lol.gif Maybe the panzanella I';ve been meaning to make all week.

Will share a grilled Ribeye, and a BIG salad including kale, spinach and baby greens with Balsamic and Olive Oil dressing. Will make some garlic toast for Hubby too.

We're attending my nephew's graduation party and was asked to help by making The Best Cowboy-Calico Beans. We'll graze on what ever they are serving until I can't take any more. Pain pill is going along for the ride this time!
