Has the "Taste of Thai" challenge been made public? I got a "not public" type of message when I click on the link.

    Good Morning,

Just want to point out a slight coding problem that occurred in the transfer of the N. African Trivia Challenge -- it should say 5 points vs. 0-10 points on your page 1. The Trivia challenge itself is correct once you are in it. There is a total of 15 points to be scored with a 3-player maximum (up to 5 points each).

    Thanks,

    Nancy

ETA Please correct your pg. 1 and notify your teams of the correct points for this Trivia. Thanks.

    The challenge is now open.

Please include any recipe you feel qualifies on your Scoring Report. My first reaction is the answer would be that each recipe could only earn SI points once, not a second time, but the Red Pencil team will look at it and make the final call.

We do ask for EXACT matches, but do include it.

If that is the case, we may also have where there are two parts to a recipe -- say a main part and a sauce, both that have papaya or sour cream or something in them... Since there are two parts -- would that ingredient count twice (if the sections of the recipe are seperated)?

As stated above my first reaction is NO. I believe each SI can only be scored once per recipe. That said, the red Pencil team makes the final call. I would list it (just in case.)

If the recipe ingredient list says: fresh parsley or fresh dill and the player's review doesn't state which one they used, can we still count it for the SI fresh dill?

Can one recipe can get credit for more than one SI?

Can Gift Shop selections be used for a Hidden Key Bonus? The Gift Shop lists three things its recipes can be used for (SI's lotto numbers, challenges), it doesn't mention Hidden Key Bonus.

What if the same Gift Shop recipe has both a lotto number and a Hidden Key Bonus? Can it be used for both, or only once?

If the SI is ingredient list it should count. Please list it on your Scoring Report & the Red Pencil team will look at it. icon_biggrin.gif

Say a recipe has fresh dill, sour cream, and herring it would score three SI's.

Unless used for a required recipe or a challenge Gift shop selections are fully eligible to score all SI's, Lotto, and Hidden Bonus points just like your Team 15.

I just want to make sure that I am remembering this correctly from last tour. If two players make the same recipe which has a secret ingredient in it but it is only listed once in the Team 15, I can only count it one time for one player, correct??

Yes. It will only count as many times as listed in the Tam 15. If it's not listed twice it can only be used one time for scoring.
