Do you have favorites from this store?

Hubby and I are taking a trip next week. (the closest one is about 50 mins away) It will be our 2nd time. First time we found a wonderful Balsamic Vinegar, so will be restocking that.

Anything in particular we could look around for to expand our tastes? We could bring a cooler too, if there are frozen goods that are suggested.

You lucky Girl! No Trader Joe's for hundreds of miles from me icon_cry.gif

But-I really liked Shi-Kai (spelling) body wash, Hansen's Mandarine Lime Soda (if you like Ginger Ale theirs is old fashioned, meaning it's spicy hot), and their 2 Buck Chuck Wine isn't to bad at all. I think it's 4 buck chuck now but still worth trying one or two out.

Stay an extra 20 minutes for me please, and have FUN!

These things I buy all the time:

    In the refrigerated section:
butternut squash ravioli - a very concentrated flavor in the filling, so good!
grated romano/parmesan cheese blend in a little plastic tub

In the freezer section - they sometimes have Argentine Red Shrimp, but not always. These taste kind of like a cross between shrimp and lobster. They are raw, but have a pink/red appearance before cooking. You'll know when they are cooked because the translucence becomes an opaque white.

Okay - this is something you might want to try because it's hard to believe.
They have a chocolate bar that is filled with peanut butter and jelly!!
Not kidding!!! It's actually good. It's called PB&J milk chocolate bar.

    I stock up on:

    Kerrygold Dubliner cheese
    Gorgonzola crumbles
    Asiago cheese (wedge)
    Dried cranberries
    Salted (shelled) pistachios
    Banana chips
    Crystallized ginger
    Chocolate covered almonds
    Coconut cream
Frozen French-style (skinny) whole green beans
    Kumatoes

They have a great selection of teas that I buy for coffee/tea swaps ~

And, I always come home with more than that!

Their frozen spinach, kale and feta pie is good. I have two in my freezer now.
If you like artichokes, I also like their artichoke antipasto (glass jar). I use that for bruschetta, in sauces and salads. I've also used it mixed with other ingredients to stuff chicken breasts.

Oops, almost forgot....hubby's favorite is their triple ginger snap cookies, they are spicy, not sweet, they come in a tub, and our local TJ's is frequently out of them icon_sad.gif
