I'd hate to run INTO that big boy!, Bad dreams. My clown shoes would still be hanging out of his maw and you'd hear my faint kazoo emanating from within, so you could still rescue me. Or not. the puffy square dance skirt might act as a reverse umbrella and prevent extraction. Just play kazoo TAPS.

Killed? Awww. I had thought that they just caught the bugger and would relocate him.
Sad ending for a 30 - 50 year old chap.

    He is HUGE though icon_eek.gif

It's sad but the story is true.

Good job, mighty warrior! One less annoyance to be bothered with.

That's what I thought at first. I hoped they'd move him to a different area - after they measured him.

I hate to see them killed; relocated definitely. I've got really close in the water to a 12" one and that was big enough. That guy looks HUGE!

Just curious. Who would want him relocated into their area?
    Not me.

I would pet him and love him and squeeze him and call him George.

No... not really. I'm not a huggy squeezy type of guy. LOL

Me, me, me, me, me! Gator is good eatin'. We'll make it a feast. Red beans and rice, some tater salad, watermelon salad, fresh cucumbers & onions, maybe some hush puppies and a bit of peach moonshine. icon_cool.gif
