if the shoe was on the OTHER foot!

Seriously. If I were male, I believe I'd be offended that he considers men so brainless and without self-control that they just can't help it. This is the same reason females wear burkas in Muslim countries.

Ha! What if the answer to all of the hypothetical questions the good Reverend has for betrayed wives is NO?

What if she said, "He doesn't provide a nice home, food, or clothes for his family. He spends no time with the children and couldn't care less about their lives, and is a dead beat Dad and emotionally distant abusive horrible husband/Dad that the children and I fear."

A dear woman I know has put up with his crap for years and the only time they have any peace is when he is away from home on a drinking binge holed up with a prostitute in a motel.

The good Reverend thinks that if she were just a little more supportive and remember all that he does for the family she should 'touch his face' and she would 'fall in love all over again.'

    Really?

Maybe his head is so far up his own arse that he didn't quite hear the question. Say what? Well, as long as the man is good looking and a good provider what is the problem? What an idiot!

"males have a tendency to wander" What? You married a cat?

He is offensive on every level I can think of. Frightening that he has so many followers.

He's so casual about cheating men, I bet he's had an adventure or two himself.

That was my first thought and I wonder how his wife felt about 'touching his face'. icon_wink.gif

Ha! He was quick to point out having an affair with a stripper in a hotel wasn't uncommon, although she never suggested that was what happened. It seemed more like a confession than a piece of advice. icon_lol.gif

Of course the wife should touch his face, although I think a better description of a touch should be a slap.

I have never liked or respected this man, and I have never agreed with any of his opinions! Thats all I'm going to say.
I will refrain from posting my personal opinions (least this thread ends up in the pan) about him and his ideals/opinions . icon_evil.gif icon_evil.gif icon_evil.gif
