We have adopted a kitten. Lexi named her Sparkle. Lol, she was found by our renters outside their house, crying pitifully. She is a lover so I know s he's been ariund people. She appears to be about 6 weeks old. She is eating and using the litter box. She is black and white. Four white feet and a half mustache. She like to sleep on my head or snuggled with my husband. We've had her a week now. I cannot post pics as I have no camera at the moment but I do have a couple on Facebook of her sleeping with Howard. Today she became very brave and ran up behind Maggie, our chihuahua.like she wanted to play. She hasn't ventured too much from our bedroom yet. I'm sure some jerk dumped her off out here. Please excuse typos. I'm using my iPad and I have a hard time typing with it. Our fur family now consists of 4 dogs and three cats. Enough already!

jneen you are so awesome to have given the little bugger a home. I'm also happy to hear of people having as many pets as us. We have five dogs now that we are back in Minnesota, but don't have any cats. We would love to have a cat but can't since we travel between here and Oklahoma. I've just about convinced myself, that if nobody has adopted the little blind white poodle OOPS has when we go back to Oklahoma that we should give her a home. I haven't given up on people yet as somebody just adopted the little black toy poodle they had who was blind. She was only six whereas the white one is ten. I saw the pictures of your little one on Facebook. Such a cutie.

"Sparkle" is doing well. Lexi named her, she should be called "Spark" instead. She is at the finger biting stage now. The Chihuahua, Maggie, has given her a whooping twice now. Once when Maggie was asleep in the sunroom and Sparkle decided to jump on her and once when Sparkle got too close to Maggie's bed.

She will soon be moving to potty outside with the other cats. That litter box stinks! She can jump to the ledge where I feed them so there is no reason for her to be housebound now. I have to feed them on the ledge of the wall surrounding the yard because otherwise the dogs would eat all the cat's food. She loves to run in and out of the house and play in my closet, hanging from my dresses. Brat.

The dogs have accepted her. Maybelle is afraid of her...no surprise there, and Poppy tolerates her. The grandkids love her, except when she plays rough. I'll put some new pics on Facebook so y'all can see how much she's grown.

Sorry. I've been doing Vacation Bible School at church all this week and decorating for same all last week. I get home at 9:00 p.m. and fall into bed. I also have the grandkids and my son's girlfriend's kids at my house. All together they are 3, 4, 5, 6 years old. I am at work all day - that's a reprieve!

I promise I will get some pics of Sparkle soon.

Oh yeah, all the kids go home tonight/tomorrow! doing the happy dance icon_smile.gif
