A recipe I want to try calls for a 14 oz can of "ready-cut tomatoes." Does anyone know what this means? I've never heard the term.

    Thanx for any replies!

either Hunt's or Delmonte has sliced plum tomatoes in a can (they were packed in a tomato type juice) Actually for a canned 'mater they were very good.

In the land downunder I would go with diced or chopped, diced being finer.
