    Man I am losing it.
Maddie is slowing down some and I mentioned to my brother that she is afterall 10 years old. He called me up today to say that she couldn't be 10 because he had a picture of her the first day she came home in November 2002 and she was already 6 or 7 months old at that time. He is right icon_redface.gif

On the other hand I'd rather have repeat birthdays rather than keep counting. Maybe I'm projecting my neurosis on her? icon_smile.gif

A belated Happy 11th Birthday Madness.

LOL.. over the years that pup has had a number of names...
I have no idea what she was called in the homes she had before the pound but they named her Matrix. The woman who fostered her so they wouldn't kill her called her Matty Mae. The SAR group called her "The Freak". I switched her to to Madison aka Maddie or Madiwadison. My brother calls her Madness and Don calls her Madisonley (more feminine he says icon_rolleyes.gif ) and now and then a 'Maddikins' falls out of my mouth.

I used to mock people like me. icon_eek.gif

Happy Birthday Maddie girl! Aren't you lucky to have such a wonderful furever home? I'm sure you don't mind that people think you are younger than you actually are... it's a woman's prerogative to "change" her age at will!

Well, happy whatever birthday it is to Maddy!

And boy, that's just nuts, calling her all those pet names. Sheesh. It's not like we have a Jarley Barley Swarly Gnarly Puppy Face or anything. icon_wink.gif

Happy 10-11th birthday Maddy. It's always good when people think you are younger than you are. When we call one of the dogs, we usually have to go through all four names to get the right one. I think that's called old age. icon_sad.gif
