When I am reviewing recipes, I usually use the back arrow to go back to the previous page and this takes forever to load. Sometimes takes as long as a minute. This does not happen with any other site. I am using a computer I just bought six weeks ago, and it runs Windows. In general, recipes take too long to load. Otherwise I love your site, or I would not keep coming back. Help!

Let Mary know what browser/version and which version of Windows. I bought this computer a few weeks ago, Windows 7 and am not experiencing what you are experiencing, at least not on Firefox.

Ditto, (but not new computer), except for all the error messages first thing today, it's been fine.

I'm sorry, I meant to type Windows 8. It happens on my old computer too, which runs Windows 7. Both browsers are IE. At someone's suggestion, I tried downloading and using ..not FF.. but the other one put out by Google; but I had the same problem with that one. This browser whose name escapes me right now is mentioned in this forum on posts unrelated to mine.

I should also mention that the problem, at least from my perspective, appears to be intermittent. Some days ok, other days not. Today it was so bad I left the site. I don't have this problem on any other site, whether it be a food site or any other type of site.

    Thank you for response.

Have you tried clearing cache and cookies and re-starting?

I cannot duplicate this problem with IE8 or FF20. We had an issue with the back button a few weeks ago where it was taking you to the top of the page instead of staying where you originally started looking. Is this the problem you are having or just the slowness?

I have a new computer with Windows 8, so I am not sure how to do that yet. (It's not like Windows 7 at all.) And because it is only a few weeks old, how much can be in cache, and how many cookies can I possibly have? Note, that this is the only site on which I experience this problem.

Still, If you know how to do this in Windows 8, I will be glad to give it a try.

You say you are using Windows 8 but what browser and version are using? Our site is not fully compatible with IE10, only IE8 or 9 and compatible with FF 14 and above. Can you please give us more information about your browser/version? Thanks!
