    Love, love, love deep fried mushrooms. Here are a few tips to get great deep fried mushrooms.

    Not all oils are created equal when it comes to frying. Olive or peanut are good choices as they tollerate high heat well. Avoid using corn or sunflower oil.

    If your deep fried mushrooms turn out runny rather than crispy, the secret is to let the excess batter drip off, and then cover them completely in a layer of fine, dry breadcrumbs.
