I'm ok either way in terms of venue.
Lambkins lives nearby and may be able to kick in with alternatives
There is a restaurant called 'Symposium' that is pretty good but it is at the east end of Burlington. It might be a factor for those driving some distance.

Here is the link to the restaurant - my feelings won't be the least bit hurt if the idea is discarded. icon_smile.gif
http://www.symposiumcafe.com/burlingtonrestaurants.html - they also have one in Stoney Creek.

I can also ask my Mum. She and her gal pals eat out a lot.

Sorry, a bit "under the weather" these past couple of days. I'm not much of a resource for restaurants in this area. The Symposium has been recommended to me in the past and I have always thought I would like to "give it a shot".

So we are set for the 16th. That is super!
We have 10 days to get it together in terms of venues. Toss your ideas in to the hat ladies or by default it will be either Turtle Jacks or Symposium. icon_smile.gif

Still struggling with this bug...so my brain is quite foggy. I was thinking, another place to "toss in the hat" might be the West Plains Bistro http://www.westplainsbistro.com/Welcome.html. Any of the restaurants mentioned will work for me...I'm just looking forward to meeting folks icon_smile.gif

Hope you feel better soon. Don is just shaking off Bronchitis - it's no fun being ill.

Thanks K9. This has been a tough one. After more than a week of "it" interfering with my activities and my plans all I can say is ....ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!
Hope the bronchitis is gone for Don...sooner rather than later.

Oooohhhh, that looks so cute! This one is much closer for me but I'll do whatever the majority wants. I haven't heard of either restaurant and I don't know Burlington well, so I am not much help. I need to get out more! icon_wink.gif

It's a good restaurant. Not big so if Nora and Sandy are good I'll make reservations for the 16th. What time works?

I have also asked Conniecooks to join us. I would pick her up at the Burlington GO. icon_cool.gif

The bistro sounds good to me too. Nora's computer is acting up so I have texted her with the latest info. Closer to her and easy to find so I am sure she will be good with it too.
My DD, Shlee (Ashley) may be joining us too so please add her to the reservation Leslie.

If it is a tiny place I am wondering if they might be swamped at the regular lunch hour. Maybe we should try for 12:30 in the hopes that some of the lunch crowd clears out. Hopefully we get a nice warm day - that patio looks
    adorable!

I'm flexible on time so go with the majority.
