You are signed in, as you would not be able to post in the forum without being signed in. Are you signing out? Please also let Mary know what browser/version and OS you are using.

Also, are you selecting Remember Me (and if so) are your cookies enabled?

When we sign in the top right hand corner where the "Sign In" link is does not change to show our picture, username and links to our cookbooks/recipes. We think we might actually be signed in as we are posting in this forum, but all those options/menus/icons have disappeared or are unavailable. We are operating in Windows 7 and Internet explorer 10 and it has worked up until yesterday.

Yes, you are signed up at some level, since you cannot post without being signed in. Other than clearing cache and cookies and restarting your browser, I am afraid I have nothing to suggest. You can get to your recipes by clicking the arrow to the right of your name and choosing the link. Clearing cache and cookies sometimes gets rid of odd problems, so it is worth a try.

Mary will need to address this, and she will appreciate your providing your browser and OS info.

(Just for the heck of it, if you have another browser, like FF or Chrome, see if you have the same problem there, or whether this is limited to IE).

    Morning from Oz again,
We have cleared cache and cookies, restarted the computer, installed Chrome and tried that too - all with our desktop with a Windows7 OS. We also tried our Samsung Android tablet using Firefox and the same thing is happening every time. No icon on the top right with our picture and the menu options usually associated with that. So cannot check zmail, add recipes, find our recipe books etc.
Again, this only started happening a couple of days ago and we have made no software or hardware changes to our computer - help?!?!?!

A couple of days ago, there was a "maintinance" on Food.com. Were you having problems prior to that "release"? Clearing your cache, and deleting cookies/history does nothing as they will just "reload" on your PC/Laptop as soon as your sign in again.

No - we weren't having any problems prior to that - could that be the glitch?

I've restarted the computer, made sure cookies are enabled for food.com, unchecked the 'remember me' box and tried to log in - again no joy!

Is anyone able to help us with this issue? Both my husband and I tried our work computers (different versions of Windows) and the same thing is happening?
Terribly frustrating? What do we do? Is anyone else having this problem?

Normans, the staff do not work on weekends, but you should hear something from Mary today (Monday). As for Remember Me not working, that is bunk. It works just fine. Mary should get back to you soon, so hang in there!
