    Hello again everyone,
Another weird request ......... Everyone here has always been so heIpful when I've been in a pickle icon_lol.gif .I have a friend who wants me to try to make a special Lemon Meringue pie that her mother used to make from a Watson's cookbook.
She's from Waycross Georgia so this might be a regional cookbook. I'm hoping someone here will have one and be able to find this recipe for me to try and surprise her with her favorite pie.
I'm not a lemon fan at all and i've perused most of the lemon recipes on here. I picked out two I'll try if no one can help me.
many thanks to anyone who might own one of these cookbooks and can give me the recipe. DAR

Is it definitely Watson, or could it be Watkins? Watkins is a company that makes flavoring extracts. They could be referring to an old cookbook the company published, they published several in the last century.

    Good moening Zeldaz,
I'm pretty sure it is 'Watson's" cookbook. here's one reference to it in the recipe Steve posted for me, although there may be more than one Watson's books from his comment about hoping it was the right "Watson's" as you can see from the info below .......
"This recipe for Lemon Meringue Pie, by Robin Newman, is from Seasoned Greetings: A Watson Family Collection, one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures"
Also, in one of the recipe I was able to find the author's name was mentioned.....Ruth Watson.
