    Newbie "Fry Cook" Poster
    I am looking for a breadmaker reciepe with quinoa/buckwheat/barley
    i want it to be gluton free and rice free as i am a diebetic.
    any help is appreciated.

    In the meantime, the Recipe Sifter (under Top Recipes) came up with this Basic Bread – Gluten-Free.

    GF Bread

    1 1/2 c sorghum flour (aka jowar flour)
    1 C tapioca starch or potato STARCH
    1/2 C GF millet flour or GF oat flour
    2 tsp xanthan gum
    1 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
    1 pkg rapid dry yeast or 2 1/4 tsp

    Seeds on top if desired

    "For the Bredman Machine"


    Pour liquid ingredients into bread machine pan first:

    1 1/4 C warm water (110 - 115F)
    3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    1 Tbsp honey or raw agave nectar
    1/2 tsp mild rice vinegar or lemon juice
    2 organic free range eggs, beaten or 1 Tbsp Ener G Egg Replacer whisked w/4 Tbsp warm water

    Pour the mixed DRY ingredients on top of liquid.

    Set machine for 1.5 lb medium crust. .. can use gluten free cycle on rapid rise too.

    Check dough after a few minutes of kneading - it should be closer to a muffin batter than bread dough, soft, but not cake batte wet.

    Adjust dry to wet ration w/a Tbsp of flour or warm liquid, if needed.
    HUMIDITY INFLUENCES THE DOUGH. AS DOES TEMPERATURE. (bread will rise higher on a hot day)

    If you like a crusty loaf (or past experiences results in gummy center/fallen top), remove bread frm the pan and place in an oven at 350 degrees for an additional 10 min - keep an eye on it and don't let it get too brown. It sh old be a light golden colour.

    COOL LOAF BEFORE SLICING.

    Freeze leftovers as slices, wrapped in a paper towel and bagged in freezer bags. Thaw to room temperature. Bake 1 hour/1 loaf
