    There are now 12 confirmed dead in the fertilizer plant explosion in West. To date there have been approximately 200 reported injuries, 150 buildings cleared and 50 homes destroyed, officials say.

    Those are HUGE numbers for such a tiny town.

    HEB has donated $50,000 to the American Red Cross and have launched a statewide checkstand donation campaign benefiting the organization in response to the devastation. One hundred percent of the donations will support American Red Cross disaster relief efforts, which includes sending relief supplies, mobilizing relief workers and providing financial resources to those affected by the disaster.
