Potsie is not in the blast area. I'm sure he will check in but he tends to be nocturnal and may not show up until later today.

Prayers sent for the people of Waco.

A small clarification...its a small town named West that blew up, not west Texas.

It's a bad, bad thing that happened. I'm sure the Red Cross and Salvation Army will be on the ball there. If anybody wants to help, consider donating to one of them.

Sad. Prayers being said. Was it an accident or did someone have an evil hand in this?

My oldest friend lives in Waco, just next door to the little town where this occurred. Hospitals are accepting people in Waco and also at Scott & White hospital between Waco and Austin. She and her son are trained in emergency assistance through the police dep't,, and they've donated blood. Both are type "0", so that's very helpful. I haven't heard from her, today, so I think they are in active service at the moment. This is such a tragedy.

At least 15 dead and 210 confirmed injured. Special teams are going house to house in the area looking for injured. Hospitals are full, and doctors and nurses from all over the county are being flown in by helicopter, showing up to volunteer on their own! When there is tragedy, people come together.

Hey gang! Present and accounted for. The explosion was100 miles South of Dallas. . wave.gif

The citizens of Waco are made of strong stuff and will recover. They had the David Koresh cult showdown in the late 80s and have been leveled by F5 tornadoes several times since the 50s and now this horrible tragedy. icon_sad.gif
