I sometimes save coupons from the paper, but rarely seem to use them. I buy little in the way of processed foods, and fresh fruit and meat generally don't have coupons. I do use them for cat food, some health and beauty type of products - if I remember them...... I'm just not good with little slips of paper!!!!

I use coupons when I can. I don't find that coupons are "mostly for processed foods" at all; I use coupons for cheese, coffee, household goods, etc.

Not worth it where I live. We dont have double, triple coupons, and I dont pick up the paper often enough. The only time I use them is if I find a coupon I can use at the store. The store I go to not only puts manufactures coupons at the door when you walk in but they are on the shelves with the item too. So I only use them we I find them with an item I am already buying. There was a story in the local newspaper about someone that was couponing, but hers was mainly baby care items and my kids are way past that age. Most coupons I find are processed items ayways, I dont buy canned or even frozen veggies as I have a garden that provides most of my veggies, the rest I purchase in summer and freeze myself. I buy my meat in bulk, I do buy some frozen dinner items for Friday dinners but never see coupons for them.

We don't have double or triple either. I can almost always get any frozen veggies I need at Aldi for less than national brands with coupons, and the quality is just fine. Coupons are rarely available for the foods I buy.

Sometimes. In the past I've been able to save big with coupons, but it just seems in my area it's not really worth it. I tend to just stick to shopping at Aldi's & Sam's Club.

I use coupons all the time, I don't have doubles, but save tons of money. I sometimes buy processed stuff for quick, easy meals or soccer snacks, granola bars, fruit snacks, wheat thins. But I also buy tons of stuff that is not processed: eggs, milk, juice, cheese, yogurt, meat, rice, flour, sugar, condiments, pickles, some produce, canned fruit for lunches, oatmeal, pancake mix, cereal-not just sugary ones, coffee, spices and seasonings, peanut butter, nutella, jam, bread, cleaning supplies, hba, paper products, school supplies and more. Even without the newspaper inserts there are tons of coupons that are available to be printed from the computer. I get coupon inserts from friends and such. If you want to put in the effort you can save a lot of money ,but it does take some effort. I am not sure if I can list some of my favorite coupons sites so email me and I will be glad to send them. icon_smile.gif
