It's going to take about a month to complete icon_cool.gif I love projects!

So I took a walk through our house trying to find something, anything to get this work of art going. I had recently fiddled around with a Glenfiddich tube trying to give it the leather look-that's all it took!

Now I needed to put it on something-I had a ring of oak. It has a cool knot in it that is hollowed out-that is going to be a pool.

A waterfall (blue and green glass beads) will flow through that piece of sea glass, and the piece of driftwood will be my tree.

    Now I need a door. icon_confused.gif

Need to fiddle with the tree to see if I will like it.

    Oh yes, yes I will!

This weekend I will be painting on the vines and leaves onto the tower, plan the windows and balcony. Next week I'm going to Lowes for tiny pebbles and small river stones-my tower will be built up and I need stone work for around the door and "stuff"!

So there we go-a work in progress.

Oh Please-I've already got the drawings going for one that will survive outside. Keeping it out of Darcy's reach, that's a whole different issue icon_confused.gif

Love it, love it, love it!

As if I don't have enough projects going on, now I am inspired to make one of these. That will make my kids each want to make one, too. We may end up with a fairy village. icon_rolleyes.gif icon_lol.gif
