Next week I am going to Mallorca. I have been to Spain many times as my DS lives there now. But, apart from ensamaida, is there anything typical of the area I should be looking out for to try?

Mallorca is a beautiful Mediterranean location, and I hope you enjoyed your trip. I have never been there, so I would have been hard pressed to suggest any "must see" things. But I do hope you post an update when you return. I would love to heard about your trip.

Thanks. We had a great trip. I used trip advisor to find some very nice restaurants which I then reviewed. If you go off the tourist track you usually eat much better. Only once did I refuse a plate of mussels are they were absolutely awful and I was concerned I would be ill if I ate them. The owner was not bothered, we were English and he still got paid. He doesnt need anything more.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the trip, Panda Rose. As much as I love mussels, and most seafood for that matter, I too have refused some dishes that I just wasn't sure about.

If you get a chance, please post a few photos you'd like to share with us.
