Ice cubes are one thing..... I guess I would hate to see someone go through the expense & trouble of making a recipe that is clearly someone's idea of good fun, that's all.

I've been a Dungeons & Dragons player since high school, and I see nothing to suggest why this would be related to D&D, nor to suggest any humorous allusions to the game. The poster appears to be active on the site, so I sent a Z-mail to inquire.

Well, yeah, I remember when the recipe was first posted, Abe Ray was asking in the forums for suggestions as to what else could be added that would represent something in DnD. I think there was something about Driders in the original description.

Abe Ray did reply to me. S/He was intending black pepper - it is supposed to be "fireball soup." Clearly not really intended to be made or eaten. And I still can't see any connection to the game.

The fireballs represent the fireball spell--fire is also for dragons. The noodles are supposed to be like spiderwebs/drider webs.

I guess you had to be there.
