    Many say that Portillos Chocolate cake was super moist made from a mix & had mayo.

    I would say that find a moist lemon cake and that would work.

    I googled and found nothing. It must be a closely held "secret"

    There are many delicious, moist, lemon cake recipes. Without knowing what was "special" about Portillo's lemon cake that set it apart from all others, it is impossible to suggest a recipe. icon_confused.gif
