I love yogurt sauces with grilled meat, this time I prepared this and was a really great change!

    Hi there awalde icon_biggrin.gif

Do you make your own yogurt my friend?

    Hi dear Umm!
I did it only a few times, I buy "normal" yogurt from the supermaket of a brand I like because it's thck, creamy and not acid (I can add lemon in case I wish it).
For other recipes / sauces I buy Turkish yogurt (10% fat), because it's different and I can use it in different ways.
I love more the Greek one, but it's difficult to get.

I love yogurt sauces, I posted the version we most use, but we make variations (without recipes), sometimes with coriander (especially if served with roasted carrots) or for example with mustard seeds and ginger. Depending on the kind of food I adjust the yogurt sauce. Yogurt is wanderful way to preserve milk, especially when no fridge is availabel!
And you? Do you make your own yogurt?

I want to BUT I buy an organic brand from our local health food shop in the highest fat content I can find. We always have a yogurt sauce alongside our rice dishes and I already adore a few of yours icon_wink.gif

Hey everyone! I stopped getting notifications. icon_sad.gif I just updated NA/ME Tag & will attend to everything here very soon. How's it going? I recently started a new job that is literally kicking my ass but I love it. I'm still working on developing a new schedule for myself so I might get everything done. I *omg* had a quiet afternoon so I got caught up on some cooking & reviewing! Happy cooking!!
