    do you think it could be baked in a 13 x 9 pan?

    It says it can, right in step 2. Note that the corners may be a little dry by the time the center is cooked through.

    The "corner" issue, chevy, can easily be resolved with placing "patches" of aluminum foil there, and conforming them to the corners of your chosen dish.
